Alex brings over five years of industry experience to the table and is passionate about guiding buyers through their property journeys, making sure each client lands the mortgage solution that actually fits their life, not just the one the bank offered first.

Named a Top 25 Mortgage Adviser in New Zealand, he takes pride in simplifying the complexities of the process and offering personalised advice at every step.

He also advises on KiwiSaver, whether that's a first-home withdrawal or making sure your fund and contribution rate are actually working towards the deposit you need.

When not assisting clients, Alex enjoys unwinding on the golf course, spending quality time with friends and family, or having fun with their beloved puppy, Frankie.

Sam joined Journey Mortgages from the wider financial advice world, where he spent two years advising Kiwi clients on life and health cover and KiwiSaver, including working alongside mortgage brokers to help first home buyers work out exactly what they could borrow, and what to change to borrow more.

He holds the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) across both the Residential Property Lending and Life & Health strands. He also comes to lending from an unusual angle: a Bachelor of Laws from Victoria University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, which means the detail in a loan offer gets read carefully, and then translated into something that actually makes sense.

KiwiSaver advice is a core part of what Sam does, from first-home withdrawals through to checking your fund choice and contributions are pulling their weight before you buy.

Sam speaks both English and Arabic, and is happy to walk clients through the process in either.

Brett brings a wealth of experience spanning residential mortgage advice and structured finance for large-scale developments across Australia and New Zealand, with deep expertise in business planning and finance for small to medium enterprises.

He has specialised in land and turnkey funding for the G.J. Gardner franchise network over the past 7 to 8 years, and now focuses on business finance consultancy, long-term property investment planning (outside CCCFA) and funding for franchisees.

When not working at the job he loves, Brett can be found on the golf course (trying to match Alex's handicap!), mountain bike riding and spending time with his family and friends.
